Pricing and Payment

Charges for editing depend on the scope of the project
  • Complexity of subject (technical manuals vs. simple brochures)
  • Number of pages (large books vs. single-page flyers)
  • Level of edit (light copyedit vs. substantive developmental edit)
  • Time frame (standard vs. rush)
My current rates approximate $30-$50 per hour for editing and $45-$75 per hour for rewrites.

Based on your preference, I can provide you with hourly or per project estimates. I keep my rates low as I work from home and do not pay for anyone else's services.

New client? Try me with a free trial edit of an appropriately selected section of your document so you can preview my work before making the commitment.

Payment is by check.
  • One half payment to be made initially.
  • Balance payment will be due when work is completed to your satisfaction.
  • Any delivery, printing, or other additional charges incurred will be added to your final payment.
Please Note: You will not incurr any immediate expense until we are in mutual agreement over the estimated charges for your entire project or document.
